Blanket Drive

It’s been 4 days since our nanny Patricia and her 6 year old granddaughter went missing during the kzn floods on Monday, 11 April.

We have received news that her house was washed away in the night and she hasn’t been seen since. Search and Rescue have been to the area and now we wait for closure.

Patricia was possibly one of the most patient people I have ever met. She crept into our hearts and loved our little Jack like her own. I still can’t believe she won’t be back in our home again and won’t be there to watch Jack grow up. She was so excited for him to start crawling and walking!

We are devastated by our loss but we know she would want us to drink an appletiser and keep our heads up.

Her community, Wyebank, was badly affected. Many victims are left with no home, no electricity and no water. With winter on it’s way and in Patricia’s honor we would like to run a blanket drive to distribute to her friends and family left behind.

We have added a donation option on our website for the rest April. Should you like to support our #PeaceForPatricia project, please click the link in our bio. For those not in the position to donate, please help spread the word🖤
